The days are getting longer, the weather is beginning to change, the first hints of spring are in the air. This means the cricket season must be right around the corner.

If you want to play social cricket this summer, the Oxford University Cricket Club (OUCCC) always looks for new members. We are open to University staff, postdocs and graduate students of any gender with any level of experience or ability.

We organise friendly matches against local cricket teams throughout the summer. Matches are usually on Sundays and will run most weeks from April until September. We can provide all equipment, and players are free to play however often fits with their schedule.

If you want to sign up or have any other questions, please contact the club email: oxforduniclubcc@gmail.com.

You can also find more information on our website: https://ouclub.play-cricket.com/home.

Our season has started and we play at various OU venues including Balliol College next door. We have casual net sessions midweek at the Uni Club nets (weather permitting).

Get in touch for more details. We'd love to see you there!

The all-weather sports pitches are floodlit and provide an ideal location for a game with your team or colleagues. You can book the pitches up to 8 weeks in advance using the Oxford sports app or the 'Pay as you go' option on the Book Online platform. No membership is required to make a booking. The multi-use sports pitch at the University Club are open from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm on both weekdays and weekends.
